About us
Watch Guide (Guía de Relojes) is an independent editorial site about affordable watches: Japanese automatics, entry-level Swiss watches, divers, dress watches, Casio and smartwatches. It is a project by Surper, based in Spain.
Our job is to organise the information a buyer would otherwise spend hours collecting: which calibre each watch uses, which crystal it has, its real water resistance, which case size suits your wrist and which direct alternatives exist. We cross-check manufacturer specifications, calibre documentation and published buyer feedback, and summarise it with clear criteria.
How we choose and compare
Every watch we recommend is assessed against the same six criteria: movement, materials, value against direct rivals, recurring issues reported by buyers, real-world use (water resistance, lume, comfort) and design. The scores out of 10 you see on the site are our own editorial rating, not Amazon ratings. We do not show fixed prices because they change daily: the valid price is always the one on the Amazon product page at the time of purchase.
